Keep the Tradition Going!
May Day Baskets in the 19th and 20th Centuries was a springtime tradition in America and other countries. Having but disappeared from our culture, this spring ritual of making and giving little floral baskets filled with candies, nuts, flowers, or little presents, people today know little or nothing about. Traditionally secretly given to someone you love to receive a special surprise. Participants in the workshop will learn of the custom and create May Baskets using traditional colorful crepe paper floral techniques. Originality will be encouraged for future creations. Open to all age levels.
Registration Required. Register Online or call 978-874-2660

Students will learn the basics of collaging using a vast variety of materials.
Often with my collage, no one knows where the paper starts and my drawing begins. Students will learn about composition, design and color relationships to create a wonderful marriage between colored materials and black & whites. Fun for new folks as well as folks that have been creating fine arts for years. Some drawing experience useful but not required.
Some materials will be supplied.
Once you enroll, a materials list will be provided.
Class is limited. No refund if you cancel.
