CURRENT EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY

at

PRINCETON BRANCH OF BARRE BANK and PRINCETON TOWN HALL

of

PAS ARTIST JANET TIBERT of LEOMINSTER

October through December 2012.

The Princeton Arts Society, the Princeton Branch of the Barre Bank, and the Town of Princeton Town Hall Administration are pleased to present the current exhibit of oil paintings by Janet Tibert of Leominster.

By taking a realistic approach in her oil paintings, Tibert strives to transform the simple beauty of nature and common objects around her into paintings that evoke a sense of peace and tranquility, sometimes with a little lightheartedness added for good measure.  Her work includes landscapes and seascapes, but true love lies with painting still lifes.  She has been a student of professional oil painter and illustrator, Alex Farquharson of Pepperell, MA since 2008.

As a member of the Princeton Arts Society, the Leominster Art Association, the Leominster Art Center and the Gardner Area League of Artists, she has won several awards for her oil paintings. Her work has been accepted into the Fitchburg Art Museumís annual juried exhibit every year since 2009.

The public is invited to stop by the Princeton branch of the Barre Bank and Bagg Hall (Princeton Town Hall) during their normal business hours to view the exhibit which will be on display through the end of December.  For more information on the exhibit, please e-mail contact@princetonarts.org or visit www.princetonarts.org and http://princetonartssociety.blogspot.com for more information on the Princeton Arts Society.
